Aloha everyone,
I have an iPhone 4 and use an FM transmitter (made by iLuv) in my vehicle to listen to iTunes content. While the Bluetooth stack didn't work correctly with my vehicle in beta 1, iTunes content was fine. Beta 2 was good for both Bluetooth and iTunes content. Now with beta 3, I get an error message stating "This accessory is not supported by iPhone." I have not seen that one before, but at least Bluetooth (for hands-free calling) works. I am now forced to listen via the iPhone 4's speakers and while loud, are not quite up to the level of the speakers in my vehicle.
Does anyone else also use an FM transmitter with their iOS device? If so, have you also experienced this failure to transmit iTunes content? Does anyone know of any resolution, or do I have to wait for beta 5? My vehicle does not have an AUX input (yeah, I know, welcome to the 1990's), and I am beginning to wonder if this functionality is to be removed from the final version of iOS 5.
