iPhone 14 Pro Anyone switch back to their 13 mini after trying 14 Pro?

I’ve been using the 13 mini for nearly a year, but decided to go for a 14 Pro when i found out my local Apple Store had some in stock.

The display on this thing is beautiful and I love the dynamic island.

However, it’s so big and heavy. When wearing cotton shorts, I feel like it’s going to fall out of my pocket. I haven’t even put a case on it yet.

I started to feel like my mini was too small, but this thing is a brick. No idea how people do the Pro Max.

I think Apple was closer to the sweet spot with the 5.8” phones. Something a little bigger than the mini but smaller than the 5.8” would probably be perfect for me.

Anyway, considering returning this and sticking with the mini. Anyone else?

I have similar feelings, but jumping from 6.1" to 6.7". Currently on Day 5, and it's starting to feel more normal. I'd say give it a few more days, or at least 3 weeks. Picked up my old X (6.1") briefly yesterday, and it immediately felt cramped.

Why not just get the regular 14? The pro models are definitely too heavy. I don’t see the practicality with them

Had a 13 mini for a year and upgraded to the 14 Pro. I miss the smaller and lighter form factor but have gotten used to the larger phone. The island, display, better cameras, AOD, etc. all out weigh the things I miss about the mini. I really wish apple would make a pro mini!

I would happily a take the same size and weight as the regular 14 with the pro cameras 9the only pro feature i really care about). Coming from a 12 mini and wanting a bigger screen and better battery life the 14 was my compromise choice. I really like it so far, even though i do feel envious of the macro and telephoto options on the Pro. But if Apple releases a thinner, lighter Pro next year, I'll be kicking myself for not holding out another year.
