Anyone tethered an SE W705a?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to buy a Sony Ericsson W705a and I'm not certain whether tethering will work or not. SE's site says that it'll work on Windows if you install the PC Suite, but there is no mention of Mac support.

In Sys Prefs > Network > Bluetooth > Advanced there's an option for Sony Ericsson "GPRS (GSM/3G)". Has anyone tried this with a W705a? Is it likely to work?

Edit: I decided to bite the bullet. I've ordered online and I'll post back once the phone arrives.

For anyone curious... it works! The speed is awful though, so I need to figure out why.

How fast is Bluetooth? The best speed I've managed to get out of the phone is 1142/425 and I'm wondering whether it's being constrained by the Bluetooth speed.

Thanks. Do you know whether there's any way to determine the Bluetooth version? All of the specs that I can find just say "Bluetooth".

I'm still having speed issues. I'll be in another city in a couple of weeks so I might be able to run a test from there to try to narrow things down.
