I applied for a vacency via the website and got this e-mail 5 days later.

""I recently reviewed your CV and Profile and am delighted to tell you that you are being considered for a role at our Apple Store."

Anyone been through this before? I'm not sure what to expect.

Thanks

Yeah, i applied for a job as an AppleCare At-Home Advisor. got a response a day later, filled out a survey to see if i fit qualifications. i do. 2 days later got a call and set up an interview for the today. did that, now i've got an interview with a different person. looks like i'l be getting it. it's kind of nerve-racking, but it's a pretty big step in my Career, so i hope this is all worth it.

That's cool. Are they likely to phone or e-mail me next? ;D

Im going to apply for a job at an apple store as soon as I turn 18, i really hope they hire younger people, I would love to work there.

OP, good luck to you! I hope you get the job

I have to attend an "Apple Store Hiring Event"

What can I expect to do there? It's for 2 hours?

Thanks,

Regards

I'm not sure what to expect at the Apple Hiring Event? Anyone got any info on what they do there?

You basically meet at a public place like a Hotel or something with up to 30 other people. They see how you can connect and work with other people as well as see if your personality is a good match for what Apple is looking for. At mine there was a little quiz at the end to see what you knew about some Apple products and services.

Hope this helps, I did not do such a good job explaining it because mine was held in February!

Good Luck

I have. They turned me down

haha...
Same :/
I've been trying to update my Resume A LOT and now the recruiter just does not seem to want to look at my application anymore. I've applied for several store positions (Specialist, Creative and Inventory Specialist) is it possible that they want people who only apply for one specific position?
