I haven't tried it on my air yet - but I use EyeTV with a Power PC mini that has quite a bit less power than my Air and it works fine. I'll plug it into my air sometime this week and confurm it, but I can't imagine it being a problem.

I use my rev A MBA to watch my HDHomeRun on EyeTV. Works fine,without overheating, and it didn't cause issues during the "core shutdown" era.
I did experience issues early on with Flash video like YouTube (I think the new version of Flash really made things much better though, not been an issue for six months or so), and Skype Video (which is still a bit of an issue although CoolBook seems to control it).
