I was previously content with using iMovie 9.0.x as a manager and editor for basic home videos, but with the advent of the 64bit iMovie 10.0, I want to take advantage of the extra horsepower of the new software. The problem I have is that I don't think the new iMovie is as effective of a library manager as 9.0.x.
So I went searching for a video library manager that has some UI along the lines of iPhoto or iTunes. I found iVideo which seems more in line with the other Apple library managers. There is a 10 day trial period, and I am planning to play with it for a while, but I was wondering if anyone else is using it or doesn't use it anymore.
My initial assessment is positive, but I'm not going to commit 7 years of home vids to it without more review. If you have a review, I'd like to see it, thanks.
