According to Apple's compatibility list for the standard Magic Keyboard with Touch ID (no numeric keypad), the Mac Studio is not compatible. It's also not listed as compatible with the non-Touch ID version, which makes me think they simply haven't updated. I don't want the numeric keypad because I use the Magic Trackpad, which is awkward with such a wide keyboard. And I've read the Mac Studio has a finicky new setup for Touch ID. Has anyone tried connecting the standard keyboard and does Touch ID work? Thanks!

I don’t know how come the Mac Studio will not just accept any keyboard?
But for the Touch ID issue I don’t have input. But I think it should be fine.

I'm using the Magic Keyboard with Touch ID but with the numpad without any issues. I was using this with my Mini earlier and connected it to the studio with the lightning cable. It recognised and paired and asked me to scan my finger. I then disconnected it and its working fine.

Thanks! Assume you meant "without the numpad."
