Folks,

Just in case I have to revert back to 10.5.8 for any reason, has anyone tried doing a clean Time Machine backup of their 10.6 build 432 setup, wiping the drive, and reinstalling 10.5.8 and restoring that 10.6 TM backup?

Did it work OK? If you haven't tried it, do you think it would work OK?

Why would you restore from a 10.6TM instead of just not overwriting your 10.5.8TM backup? You seem to be overcomplicating things.
