Yes it will, I had the same 16GB kit in my late 2011 Macbook Pro and it worked flawlessly.

did it benchmark and clock the higher mhz and provide any speed boost over the 1333 ram?

OSX reported it as 1600MHz but I didn't notice any performance gains. I didn't run any benchmarks.
