I'm wondering if anyone who is jail broken has tried the new iBooks update? Past updates have caused it to crash, so let us know if it works with jail broken iPhones.

I updated and it works, but I don't have any books bought from iTunes, so idk if those work

I'm not touching it until there are many more confirmations. The reviews at http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ibooks/id364709193?mt=8 don't seem very encouraging for iBooks 2.1.

I foolishly updated to iBooks 2 when it was released and all it ever did was crash. I struggled a bit to get the older version (iBooks 1.5) installed cleanly and resync all my books. Similar to other stock Apple apps, iBooks cannot be easily deleted from the phone.
