Hi all!

I have an 11 Pro Max and, for the most part, I absolutely love it. However, it's heavy af and just a *little* too big for my hands.

I had the XS Max the year prior, so I initially tried upgrading to an 11 Pro, but found myself missing dual column apps and the extra real estate. I returned it and have been mostly satisfied with the Pro Max!

However, the fact that the regular 12 now has the 6.1" screen and is over 2 ounces lighter has me thinking about "downgrading" to a regular 12. I don't use the camera a whole lot, and obviously the camera on the 12 is still fantastic.

Is anyone else considering this move? If so, why?

Thanks everyone, and have a great weekend!!

At the risk of sounding dumb, what is “dual column apps”? This is the second time I’ve seen this term referenced tonight, and even after searching on Google and YouTube, I can’t figure it out.

I am aware of split view apps on iPad OS, but what’s this you’re talking about on the iPhone?

I did... the 12 is going back tomorrow and i have my 11 pro max back out haha.

I missed the screen size, matt back, and I didnt realise how much i actually used the telephoto lens previously.

Can't wait for the 12 pro max, will be a beast! Just the colour what to choose? Im liking graphite

I am reviving this thread since I'm thinking about doing this too. I've had the 12 Pro Max since launch and the big screen size is great for watching content, but the other drawbacks might outweigh it, at least for me. I often naturally attempt to use it one handed and find myself almost dropping it or having excessive typos. The "Pocketability" is kind of annoying especially when sitting down. I don't take advantage of the fancy camera. The only time I use the camera is for eBay pictures, and honestly, I think my old iPhone X took better pictures for eBay. It seems the 12 Pro Max camera overcompensates everything. It seems like Apple designed it assuming we are taking selfies and artistic shots all the time or something. So with that said, I am considering swapping my Max for the regular 12. Anyone else do this or feel the same way? Just curious. Thanks
