Anyone upgrade from M2 Pro to M4 Pro?

Hello - upgrading from my M2 Pro with 16gb Ram and 1 TB internal SSD to either a M4 16gb Ram, 1 TB SSD, 10 GBE or M4 Pro 24GB, 1 TB SSD, 10 GBE.

I think I read that SSD speed is double that from the normal M4? I know I also get 24 GB Ram in Pro M4.

I get military discount, so prices difference is about $400 between the too. Anyone else do a similar upgrade and what did you decide on? Thanks!

What's the purpose of the upgrade? M2 Pro should give you plenty of horsepower.

I did upgrade my M1 mini to M4 Pro, but mostly because I had an alternate use for the M1 so just "Wanted" a new computer & got the Pro so it'll last.

I’m not sure you would notice much of a difference between the Base M4 and the M2 Pro, the Pro may actually better depending on your use. I’m interested in the M2 Pro to M4 Pro if you see any real world differences.
