Has anyone upgraded to the iPhone 3g from one of the simplicity tariffs? If so did you have to go through another credit check?

No credit check was needed when I upgraded.

Just need to take a debit card and proof of address (i.e. recent bank statement) to an O2 store and that is it.

They will phone to make sure you are eligible for upgrade first and that's it (im my exprerience anyway).

No credit check was required on Simplicity as you already have an account open.

I am sure your local O2 will be more than happy to verify if you go into the store/phone/email and ask to put your mind at rest.

I went in on Friday and upgraded to iphone 16gb in 15 mins. No credit check was required.
