ArchPOWER located here!

I keep running out of RAM for the install. I use Arch on PC - but the lack of clear PowerPC specific instructions has been confusing. I created and enabled a swap partition. No dice.

I have both an iBook G4 and TiBook G4 with 768MB RAM and the install fails on both, sadly.

I have not tried it, but according to it's wiki....
[2] The installer will boot but you may need to create swap before doing anything else
Which my guess would be it loads the OS/installer in to ram, and without a ready made swap partition for it to use, it runs out of ram and fails. Download any PPC live linux iso (void, ubuntu, adelie, etc), boot in to it and create your swap partition, and maybe the rest of the partitions. Then try installing Arch again.

Or follow it's guide and see if it works.

Cheers
