Anyone use Grab app?

I have two questions.

1. Does anyone use Grab?
2. How do I keep the application open?

I use it for school. The reason why is I can't save the webpage as a PDF, but I can screenshot it. Using ⌘⇧4 saves a selectable screenshot, but with Grab I can edit the filename easier.

After each screen shot when I click back on safari the app closes. I see no options/preferences just pointer options.

Any recommendations on different apps or how to get this to work would really be appreciated.

I use it often, and you're right -- it closes. But I keep it permanently in my dock, so it's really not very annoying to start it up again.
