I've been curious to try this, but I only have the free iCloud account with a limit of 5GB, since I use my iCloud drive for other things, I already have about 2GB free.
Does the iCloud Desktop feature use your default iCloud Drive for it's storage purposes or does it store it elsewhere?
The thing is sometimes my Desktop has a lot of files and can easily go past 5GB, do you have control of what files or file sizes gets sent to the cloud?
