iMac 27" users/ATD users, do any of you ever occasionally switch over to "Retina Mode" and use it that way?

I find that occasionally, when my eyes get tired, moving to Retina Mode makes my computer much easier to use.

btw, "Retina Mode" means switch to 1280x720 HiDPI, not 1280x720.

It doesn't give the same effect as a retina display, it just makes it so the UI stuff doesn't look like pixelated crap when using a scaled up resolution. But no, I don't use the HiDPI mode on my current machine. I bought a larger screen, so unless I have eye problems, I don't see sense in not using all of the pixels available to me.

I am using it in standard res but i enlarged the dock and thumbnails in finder, aswell as favorites icons. Much more pleasant to use and looks better. :)
