Anyone use Macdrive on their PC machines?

I also use a pc laptop running windows 7. I have this 750gb usb3 portable hdd, mac formatted of course, that I use to offload stuff from the laptop to eventually archive on other drives.

Up till now I've had no problems with file transfer speeds but all of a sudden its crawling.
Even though I still had over a 100gb free space, just copying 4-5 gb's would take over 20 minutes or so.

Thinking that maybe the drive might be so fragmented for some reason, I unloaded more to another drive and freed up about another 150gbs but still didn't help. Did this on my Mac and no transfer speed problem.

Drives diagnostics are good, no issues in need of repairing (I also use diskwarrior besides DU). Launching macdrive itself says it's OK in the bottom righthand corner.

Any ideas? Thanks

So funny. Every time I have a problem and post on a forum, I immediately find the solution.

Right after it occurred to me that you can do a hardware reset like on my macs. Removed the power and held down the on button for a bit. Now it seems to be working normal now, lol.

Nevermind

later that day.... hmmmm. much faster than it was but still some things a tad slower than it should be
