I love the idea of the Magic Trackpad. Especially the gestures. The problem is, I have two very large displays (24 & 27) and it takes about a month and 20 strokes to go from corner to corner. I could adjust it, but that makes it really tough for precision drawing, etc. So I've stuck with the mouse since I returned the Trackpad.

It just dawned on me... Why not use both? Is anyone here doing it? What are your thoughts? Have you adjusted? Do you use both regularly, or have you gravitated toward one or the other?

Thanks.

I run both at the same time on an iMac, they work just as you'd expect.

I switch between them if as when I please and the system seems fine to take both as inputs.

I use both in this way:

For most things I use my magic mouse but for reeder (and I assume lion when it comes out) I use the trackpad with lots of gestures that reeder/btt support to easily flip through my rss feeds.

U can't use the MTP for precision work, u use a mouse for that. The pad is perfect for web browsing and picture viewing.

I have the pad on my left side and mouse on right.
