I've been trying to find a way to connect an ipod, itouch, and iphone to our home stereo. Does anyone have the Cambridge Audio iD100 Apple Dock?

Thank you

Yes - great unit, one of the few that works well with the iPad, including charging. Audio outputs are digital only (coaxial or optical), so if your stereo has digital inputs, it would be a great choice. Has a good remote, too.

iD100

Hi there,

The iD100 is a digital iPod dock. This means it bypasses the DACs (digital to analogue converters) inside the Apple model which are designed for portable use and takes the pure digital signal which can then be connected to an external DAC such as our DacMagic or an AV Receiver via a digital input. This dramatically improves the audio quality in comparison to using an analogue dock, which uses the portable DACs inside the Apple model.

I'd suggest checking out our iD100 page for more details. There is a short and informative video about the iD100, plus information and photos.

I hope this helps.

Regards,
Cambridge Audio
