Hello all,

I travel quite a bit, and used to take my dell mini hackintosh with me. I'd load up a portable TB drive with a ton of movies and have stuff to watch on the plane, in hotels, on road trips, etc... however, now that i have an ipad the mini has been relegated to other uses.

I only have the base model ipad... 16 gigs doesn't hold a lot of media, but I'm making it work. Today I stumbled upon this:

http://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Satellite-Wireless-Storage-STBF500101-Black/dp/B004Z0S7K6/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1308762313&sr=1-1

Anyone use this? It looks like a pretty sweet solution! At least this way I could load up a bunch of media and decide what I want to watch when I'm traveling instead of before I leave. Sure, it's not a ton of storage, but looks like a decent compromise for me. Any thoughts? Anyone have any experience?

Plenty of "bad" reviews at Amazon. Hmm...
