Whats the experience like? Is it sturdy? What arm do you use? Do you clamp it or use it in the grommet?

Any regrets going this route compared to getting one of the apple built in stands?

Didn't opt for a monitor arm, but instead a standalone mount since the desk I have probably can't probably handle it. I used a Garbor DMS-200 mount, It provides height, tilt, and pivot. I had to tighten the tilt hex, but the stand supports the monitor and surdy enough, although atheistic wise makes it look like any old monitor. It screws into the mount. It's a lot sturdier than the LG Ultrafine 5K, which I don't have, but heard that had a wobbly stand.

Only negative, the power cord won't go though the cable management hole, since it's small.

Not at all, Tilt is just pathetic for a monitor this price and height and tilt is outrageously priced for what it is. The image quality is great and the text is sharp compared to the LG Colorprime 2K Thunderbolt 2 display I have since 2016. The colors are great like the LG Colorprime I have, unlike the Dell U2719D, which I regret buying as I am not impressed by the colors, but needed another 2K display to use temporarily as a secondary.

Hi, i have the same arm and thinking of using it to mount dual ASD's though I wonder if the fixed power cable is long enough. I see that you've not fixed the cables to the bottom of the second extended arm that mounts to the VESA mount, is this due to the length of the power cable? Though I see that the cables from the portrait unit is cable tied to the arm.
