Anyone used a Yamaha Cavit external soundboard?

I saw someplace the Yamaha Cavit, which is an external receiver. It connects to the computer through USB and there is actually Mac support up to OSX.

It's a bit pricey, but something to consider. Therefore I throw this out....has anyone purchased it or heard a review about it?
