Ok, so I have this iMac from like 2010 that came with Snow Leopard and I found a great use for it lately. It is setting it up at the end of my bed and using it as a TV, so fsr for netflix and light pc gaming with a wireless mouse and keyboard (mostly rom hacks and older steam games like the original stalker and team fortress 2). However, I have been flirting with the idea of really using it as my ain tv because I dont have a TV here yet in Poland. The image wuality is amazing on netflix and oversll it is a nice size screen. What I would like to kow is if I update the MacOS will it erase my old software and restart a clean install or can I update to high serra or. whatever it allows so I can at least get the Mac App Store without losing any content or software? withiut having to back it up I mean? Secondly, how do I connect my wii to it? I hear you need a tv tuner and found this interesting one that also comes with an antenna you can use for tv channels (although Im in Poland so I don't know if it would show the local channels here or it is based on a U.S frequency?) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B...RVHBP&linkId=8377c6d2391e8632a1adc1098e273aa9
But it only comes with a usb inout and one of those outputs for antennas or the one tube thing. I would like one that comes with the red white and yellow outputs (hopefully component but ill settle for composite) that the wii can be inputted into and somehow it recognizing the wii sensor bar. Any help?
