Anyone used the Logitech k780 on Apple Devices? I am thinking of getting it for my MacBook Pro mid-2015 and iPhone XR and would love to hear any impressions. Can it work without the dongle on Apple devices? Thanks!

Anyone used the Logitech k780 on Apple Devices?

I haven't used the K780 specifically. But I've used several other Logitech keyboards. I'm using a Logitech MX Keys on this Mac right now. The K780 can work via Bluetooth or Unifying Receiver on Macs. The only limitation is that if you use the FileVault feature to encrypt your internal drive then you can't use a BT Logitech keyboard to enter the password when the Mac initially boots. You'd have to type it in on your MBP keyboard. But once the computer is booted, you can use the Logitech keyboard in BT just fine. If you use a Unifying Receiver on the Mac, then you can enter the password at FV boot time.
