Anyone used Typescreen?

I was considering buying this product, but couldn't find any reviews. Maybe it's too new.

Anyone had any experience with it? Looks pretty cool.

While the idea looks cool....I have to say the premise looks insane if not ridiculous. I would never want to sit my iPad in something like that, the potential for something bad to happen looks incredible. But that is just me looking at the picture.

If you want something to type with that isn't the on screen keyboard, why not just use an Apple Bluetooth keyboard. That way you don't have to worry about marking up the screen with that arm, and you get to stay in the 21st century with the rest of us

Hee hee, well I just like it for the nostalgia. But I figured unless I could find someone who had used it and it worked, I would not buy it.

I think it's more of a gag than a useful accessory.

BTW: if I already have a bluetooth keyboard for a mac desktop, can I also use it for the ipad... say, in a different room? ie. can I pair it with two devices and switch between the two?
