I am fairly certain that the base binned M1 Pro will be more than sufficient to run all but the most demanding Logic Pro projects, however I am still not entirely convinced about RAM and fan noise (on the 14”).
The recent reports of fan noise from the 14” have started to worry me a little, although they mostly seem to refer to the Max processor and video rendering.
Any such issue with demanding Logic projects?
As for RAM, I am pretty much set to go for 32GB to avoid the risk of later disappointment, but I would still be curious to know other users memory pressure with demanding Logic projects.
Thanks much.

My M1 iMac handles my Logic workflow far better than any of my previous 5K iMacs/Intel MacBook Pro’s did. The M1 Pro chip will be more than enough for music production (especially in Logic). I never hear fans kick in on my M1 iMac, but I’m not sure if the M1 Pro’s fans are louder? I’d think they’d probably only kick in at the most intense tasks and most likely not in a regular Logic workflow. I couldn’t see it making more noise doing the same task as an M1 does silently. If it’s apparently a problem though I would go to an Apple store and run a Logic benchmark or something and listen to the fans yourself. The noise would be exaggerated in YouTube videos as they’re holding a mic right up to the computer.
