Has anyone been using a SanDisk SSD? Have any feedback you can provide?

I've been waiting to spring for a 128GB Crucial M4 (currently priced at $119.99).

But, SanDisk is having a 1-day sale today and they have their 120GB SSD for $99.99. Should I pull the trigger or keep waiting for Crucial price drops?

Stay with Crucial. Much better and only a few bucks more.

You could even get a 256 GB M4 for $179 sometimes.

I don't need that much disk space. Plus I'm a broke college student so the 128GB is good for me.

I would still wait for the Crucial then. Better performance, proven reliability.

Actually, if you look at the performance numbers (all four: seq read, seq write, random read, random write), the SanDisk Extreme drive beats the Crucial in all of them, some by a bit and some by a lot.

I'm tempted to pull the trigger on the Sandisk myself.

I'm hoping someone who has used or is using a SanDisk can come in here and give us some feedback. I appreciate your responses.

The prices of SSDs have been dropping steadily over the past few months and this will probably continue until it hits the .50/GB range. Wait unless you NEED to upgrade right now.
