I like this concept...combining stereo headphones with a microphone for listening to music on the iPhone and being able to handle calls. In addition, there should be no issue hearing the other person if you have open ear speakers in each ear.
Open ear speakers may only deliver decent sound...probably on par with stock iPod ear buds, but you should still be able to hear what is going on around you. Even more, this will allow you to keep the bluetooth feature turned off. Although I will probably have bluetooth activated on mine because my car has bluetooth.
Anyhow, I'm a NOOB to the MacRumors forum and figured this was the place to come for help. FWIW, I did do a search first but came up empty. Here is a link to the product...it is kind of expensive.
