I was told that it makes a rainbow effect (at least thats what they said about the matte screen protector)

I'm using the Moshi iVisor which is practically the same thing. It really eliminates glare but isn't so great for outside use. Looks to be somewhat more distracting. If you work in an environment indoors with a lot of reflecting lights its great. When inside it looks just like the AG screen and its nice knowing I have the option to remove it :)

I thought I remember reading about one I was going to buy that apparently got rid of the prism effect, but can't recall what company it was when I was researching  . But yeh my mpb 13 has crazy glare

I had the PowerSupport Anti-Glare film and thought it was all right. It seemed to distort things just a little too much for my taste. I ended up taking it off and suffering through until the matte display was an option again on the MBP.

So I applied the ClearCal and gloss is definitely gone. Though, the image quality takes also a huge hit. The screen has some "grain" now. I think I will keep it at least during the summer :)

So anyone else is using a antiglare film ? I'd like to have some opinions about other products ?

tex

none of the protectors I've used matched the original screen quality

let it be grain or rainbow effects on the screen, I eventually quit trying to find a screen protector and just went naked, glare or not, it's beautiful this way
