Anyone using Camera Kit for Audio?

Got the Camera Connection Kit yesterday but have yet to get any audio interfaces to work. I heard they should 'just work', but not for me yet.

Tried an M-Audio MobilePre with and without powered USB hub and couldn't get any audio in or out. Using the app Multitrack DAW (which should work) even when connected it still just uses the iPad's built in mic and speaker. Tried other apps too but no dice. USB keyboard worked for typing, though it did give an error first.

Anyone using this successfully for audio? Not really sure what else to try.

I have B&W MM-1 computer speakers that work with mine. They have an external power supply, so maybe that is the difference.

Thanks for your response. When you plug into the usb connector attached to the iPad, does it automatically route audio to your speakers and mute the iPad speaker, or is there anything else you have to do?
