Your other options are:
- using a Windows version of CS6 trough WINE/CrossOver or some kind of Virtualization (aka VirtualBox/VMWare Fusion/Parallels + Windows install) or even under Bootcamp
- subscribe to Adobe Creative Cloud
- look for commercial or other alternatives (Affinity etc.)
- use your old Mac/macOS until it dies or you can switch to Adobe CC
