Finally got my first iPhone this week and I picked up a case and screen protector to go with it. I didn't put the screen protector on yet because I've never done it before and because stuff like this https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1442446/ makes me wary.

Anyone using this screen protector? I haven't found anything around here about anyone using it. Is one really necessary? As I've mentioned this is my first iPhone so I'm not sure what the wear and tear on these things are like.

Thanks!!!:D

Almost 500 views and no replies? I guess my doubts about this protector are legitimate then ;)

It looks like a liquid based protector. So I'll broaden my question and ask if all screen protectors are liquid based, and if not, has anyone installed any liquid based screen protectors on their phone?

New to all of this.

wet solution installs are common. if you look at the multiple threads below this one you can find a lot of positives. Also YouTube has many how-to videos on installation.
