Anyone using KRK monitors?

Does anyone have experience with KRK monitors? The VXT4 specifically? I have a pair but they only came with two power cables and nothing else. I was not informed on how to set them up so I have no clue what to do with them at this point.

I need to hook them up to a MacBook Pro. I would appreciate some help

You need a cable like this:

Just examples, don't know about the quality of these exact models, any of them will work, the VXT4 accepts both inputs.

you can buy an audio interface from companies like m-audio, if you want to have the best quality sound. connecting directly from macbook pro's 1/8" jack will sound like crap

Yeah, this too, but if you go that route the cables are different.
