Anyone using Moto Surfboard cable modem with Airport - using DHCP on the airport?

I noticed surfboard has DHCP built in & you cannot turn it off...but I want to run the DHCP off the Airport (working now that way with DSL and it's problemfree). Also what did you do about no MAC cloning on the Airport?
