Anyone using Newer Technology Guardian MAXimus Enclosure Q 2-Drive RAID 1?

I was looking at G-SAFE two drive RAID 1 solution but it seems to be discontinued for some strange reason. What do you think of this for RAID 1 setup using Macbook PRO running 10.7.3. It's $125 without drives. Which drives do you recommend?
