I currently have the RX 580 from Asus and I can't see the boot screen. I have an opportunity to purchase the Sapphire RX 590 (Apple says the Sapphire 580 works) - So I wanted to see if this particular card will let me see the boot screen on my 2012 5,1 Mac Pro. Thanks for any help!

Specific card that I am getting:

Sapphire Radeon Nitro+ Rx 590 8GB GDDR5 Dual HDMI, DVI-D, Dual DP OC Special Edition (UEFI) PCI-E Graphic Cards (11289-01-20G)

It must have an UGA driver like the RTX to show boot screen, which I doubt. Maybe somehow a GOP driver in a refind boot manager can enable it, but I doubt that either.
