Are you using the Apple Bumper case? & if you are how do you like it?
I'm not sure if it's enough protection for my phone.

I used one at first, then went otterbox, lifeproof, e13ctron, seidio, casemate now back to apple bumper. Just ordered a sgp neo hybrid…

The apple case is nice but it will scratch the metal band if not cleaned regularly. I ended up putting a ghost armor shield around the band. Has worked with all above cases.

Apple iPhone Bumper

Got my white Apple iPhone Bumper With metal buttons for volume and power, two-tone colours and a combination of rubber and moulded plastic, Bumpers add a touch of style to any iPhone 4S or iPhone 4.It looked awesome.I suggest pick the white one, because the bumper in white really looks good on the iPhone.Panasonic DMC FH25K

A friend of mine has one of those that is two colours (white and green). But other than that it looks and feels exactly like an original Apple one. I suspect Apple's factory has been doing some 'extra work'.

Anyway I use my black bumper to isolate my alarm clock from my night stand. There's a buzzing noise in there that resonates in the stand and the bumper shuts that right up. I tried using it on my phone a bit but I came to the conclusion that I really don't like covers and stuff on my phone.

I have several bumper cases from Apple. Some people think it's too expensive for a case, but I still love apple's bumper cases because it always feels nice to decorate an apple phone with apple accessories. Feels like completing an apple look on my iPhone.:D

I've got a genuine Apple Bumper in black but only used it for a day. Felt the need for a bit more protection than it provided so I went with a Contour Design hardshell case in black.

I used a bumper when I first got my iPhone 4, but it picked up small pieces of grit that scratched the antenna and it fell apart after about a year. I've been using the replacement iPhone I got in November without a case.

I have a bumper, and for a minimalism-type case, it works very well. It might not protect your phone as well as some larger cases, and some might suggest a screen protector if you are prone to scratches.

However, it does do a great job with helping you hold your phone, and raises your phone up a bit so the back and front don't get scratched up by the table. Do beware if you use non-Apple headphones, for the port is a bit small.
