I am in the market for a monitor for work (office) use + some personal photo processing. I am definitely interested in this new 1920x1920 Eizo EV2730Q : http://www.eizoglobal.com/products/flexscan/ev2730q/index.html
Anyone using it? How does it feel?
I am torn between that one and a 30" Dell U3014 with 2560x1600 resolution (a couple hundred bucks less expensive also). However my desk is quite small and I fear the 30" might simply be too big. Smaller monitors (27") are all 16:9 which I hate, as most user interfaces on both Windows and Mac are built in the vertical direction: windows bar, MS Office ribbon, etc etc. A square monitor should be perfect for that.
If the Eizo had 2560x2560 resolution I would buy it on the spot without that self-induced headache I have at the moment...
Any opinions welcome! Thank you.
Etienne
