Anyone want to send me an iMessage

As title. Looking to test what happens when i have 2 ios devices setup with the same email for imessages. I'm guessing it would go to both devices? Would someone here be kind enough to send me an iMessage?

never mind. asked on twitter instead. Can confirm iMessages go to both devices. Even when you send on one device, your sent messages appears on both. Love it!

yes one was iphone the other ipad

iphone set to receive imessage on mobile number and email. iPad set to receive on email only.

I guess if the iMessage was sent to the mobile number, then only the iphone would receive it...

That was gonna be my question. Any way you could test it? Would love to get SMS messages forwarded to my iPad if they were sent to my iPhone.

u need to be on ios 5.

Just tested with a mate. If an iMessage is sent to a mobile number then it will only be received on the iphone.

Normal sms goes to iphone as well (as expected).

Ok i figured that would b the case. Maybe apple will work that feature in somewhere down the road.
