Im currently wearing the new Fitbit flex 2 and the Apple Watch on separate arms. Does anyone else do a similar thing? The AW is great as a smart watch but Fitbit rules as a fitness device and the app is great.

Me. I am wearing an AW on my left wrist and FB Charge 2 on my left wrist. Same reason as you-- AW is a great smart watch, but FB rules for activity tracking (sleep tracking, HR analysis, and holistic activity view).

This is my combination.

That looks better than mine. I got the Charge 2, because I wanted HR. That sucker is huge compared to the Flex 2. I am hoping that someone will come out with an HR tracker that is the size of the Flex 2 or Alta. Then, I will happily dump the C2.

I can't decide whether to wear the flex 2 on the other wrist or as in the photo?

Whenever I wore both a fitness tracker and my AW (used to wear different versions of the UP band and also tried the microsoft band before Apple Watch came out) I always wore them on opposite arms. Apple watch on my left and fitness on the right.

I have the Fitbit blaze and agree with you, their fitness tracking triumphs apple's. So much easier to use and family/friends mainly have fitbit. Since the Blaze can "pop out" of it's casing, I usually put it in my pocket while wearing the AW. Therefore I don't have to wear double and I barely notice it!

It's just the basics and uses your phone rather than the Apple Watch since the Fitbit app doesn't work with health app.

If you have AW why can't you just use Mobile Track in the Fitbit app?
Partially: MobileTrack had quit working with iPhone 7 (just checked and it is back now)
Mostly: All the other stuff I was missing (24/7 HR tracking and analysis, sleep tracking, single portal view of all activity information)

I wear my AW and Fitbit on the same arm. My Fitbit doesn't have a clock, it's the basic one, can't remember the name. I use my Fitbit for work week challenges with coworkers.

So after all that I've decided to just use my Apple Watch. The flex 2 was massively inaccurate and calorie burn was over by at least 500 compared to the Watch which I know is bang on.
