I was a bit disappointed when found out not only did it NOT have a backlit keyboard (new revision) but the display wasn't glass. Now I understand that glass is heavier but it the device feel that much more secure and durable as well as making it a dream to clean.

Anyone else wish it had a glass display?

EDIT: Yes, I realize I have posted this in the wrong section, I am sorry.

No, it's a matte display.

I find the display on my new MBA just terrific. Its nearly as nice as the anti-glare hi-res display on my new 15" MBP.

I understand some prefer the shiny reflective glass, but I use mine for hours on end. Even with 20/20 vision, I just can't handle the glare and reflection.

Is it difficult to clean the Air's screen? What methods do people use?

be careful cleaning u screen, easy to scratch, use moist cloth, preferably one that came with u mac,or any good lint free microfibre will do,but be sure to not press hard, and try to remove any dirt before polishing or scratches may result.

i found this out the hard way when mbpros were first released few yrs ago, lol.

I for one i'm glad it doesn't have glass. Not a fan to be honest.

I love the Macbook Air's screen. Second only to my 15inch HR AG! Honestly, I would be happy if all the Macbook Pro's got the same panels. Lighter(in weight)+Higher Res... what's not to like?
