Screenshot won't look different from a samsung or lg display.
Since a screenshot does not pass thru the display..
A screenshot from the LG display will look EXACTLY the same.
are you sure? So you mean if Malfal has blurry text on his Macbook Air and he take a screenshot, i wouldn't see the blurry text on the screenshot?
Absolutely - a screenshot has nothing to do with the attached screen (you could take a screenshot with no screen attached for instance).

A screenshot simply captures what the computer is sending to the display.
What the display then sends to you is often a different story.
e.g. If I take a screenshot of a blank white page on my blue-tinted screen and send it to my friend with a yellow-tinted screen, it will not appear blue, but yellow.

Font rendering is an OS responsibility, there will be no difference between two different screens out of the box.
It is possible to change the type of font rendering using a terminal command that I can't remember off-hand. It's easy enough to Google, however.
I think I see what you're getting at, based on the other thread you were replying to. You're wondering if different Macs are rendering the text in different ways (like ClearType on Windows), which would display on a screenshot.
But two things:-
1) The dpi of a particular screen would be irrelevant. For instance, a screenshot of an iPhone 4 screen will just appear bigger if you sent it to someone else.
2) I'm not aware of any variance or options between different installs of OS X on how they render fonts.

That link will provide you with the info needed to change your font smoothing preference.
The number correlates to the weight of smoothing. Coming from Windows, I'd try 1.
In terminal, type:
defaults -currentHost write -globalDomain AppleFontSmoothing -int 1

no difference with the one sent by Adidas Addict which is from a 1366x768 Air. i hope someone can send a 1440x900 Air shot, same as mine.
You definitely won't see any rendering difference between screen x and screen y in screenshots.
I know it might be hard to hear, but assuming you didn't know about the different screen manufacturers, would you be so worried? Is it actually bothering you?

yeah i think i'm enjoying it too much. I love it actually! I love the Terminal, built-in support for Python, SSH, Apache, PHP, and many more. It's fast and a lot more stable than Windows 7. The design, it's insanely great!
