It is just as a feared... my friend got a 32GB iPad 3 Verizon White and I compared my 64GB Verizon White... my screen was definitely had a yellow tint. In fact, at the same brightness level my 64GB was dimmer....

Anybody got a 64GB White without the yellow tint? I plan to go to the store tomorrow to get an exchange... I hope this doesn't occur with all the batches sent to stores...

Yes. I specifically wanted a white 64gb wifi-only. No yellow tint, just neutral white screen. If it's bad, I'd exchange it.

I read somewhere that all the 64GB White 4G's had yellow tint to them... but really.. if thats the case... that would suck.... a lot...

I saw the yellow tint threads on the forum, but thought I probably didn't have that problem. I didn't really notice it on mine until I saw my friend's iPad 3 and realized I was affected....

I have a 64GB Att black. I didn't have a yellow tint but I did have an uneven screen color. The bottom 1/4-1/3 looked like it had a light dusting of yellow dust. Was really bothersome.

I set my screen brightness to 100% and ran some movies, a slideshow, and used it for a couple of days and my screen is now uniform. While I prefer the 'cooler' tones of my ipad2 this one is now fine.

Plus on my iPad 2 I kept the screen brightness set to about 50% or so. When I first began using the new one I had to turn it up to 60% because the screen just epseemed dimmer. Since my little experiment I can now turn the brightness back down.

Don't know it this will work for anyone else but I'm satisfied now and I'm pretty picky.

And by read somewhere he means completely made up and decided he would throw that out there in some insane attempt to investigate why his iPad sucks..

As a bunch of people have mentioned on here, wait a few days. Mine used to geive off a yellow tint when I held it at angles, but it's gone now. Is apparently some adhesive. So give it a few days before returning the device.
