I am looking for some feedback from the forum members regarding 2015 MacBook users who have gotten their keyboard replaced through Apple's replacement program.

I typically have to air dust my keyboard once a week to avoid sticky/unresponsive keys. All my keys are currently working, even though the responsiveness across keys are not even close to consistent.

This is by far the worst keyboard I've ever used on any computer.

My question is, do I need to have a completely unresponsive keyboard to qualify for the replacement? Do they just change it with the same keyboard or do they upgrade it?

Any feedback and advice would be extremely appreciated.

Fiancee's 2016 keyboard was replaced with another 2016, as far as I know (the keys don't have the additional markings).

Keyboard doesn't have to be entirely unresponsive. I simply have a spacebar that doesn't work in the corners. It's out for replacement now.
