Anyone with a Rebel XS able to tether in Aperture?

Does anyone with a Canon Rebel XS able to tether shoot with aperture?
I can't get my XS to read. It will see the camera to import photos but not to tether shoot.
I can shoot with the eos utility fine, but wanted to try it out on aperture.
It just wont see my camera.
