All,
Many have signal issues that got it on day 1. There are some that claim absolutely they do not have the problem...including those that have exchanged their unit for another.
Although many believe it is a fundamental design flaw, it does not prevent Apple doing "something" to try and improve/rectify the design.
As we pass each major shipping date, I thought it would be useful to check-in if anything has changed.
So do phones that are part of the 2nd July shipment still have signal issues?
We can do the same again on the 14th July shipment...and then the White phones later in the month.
Do you remember first-gen iPod Touches had an issue with their screens where black was a shade of grey LIGHTER than dark grey. Some people said it looked like the image was inverted. Apple rectified this but it was "slipped" in and people had to find a way to exchange their product for a corrected one.
