What specifically about it?

Build quality and how firm and solid it felt. I loved the glass back but there were stupid, stupid people who liked to drop their phones.

Still use the 4s actually. Just with it had LTE. Never understood in the life of me why it didn't include HSPA+21 or 42?

The iPhone 4/4s is definitely the most beautiful phone of the bunch. I think the iphone 5 is ugly which is why I'm holding out for iphone 6. Really hoping they get rid of that ugly, look-at-it-and-it-scuffs aluminum back.

4s is much better than 5 from durability point of view and solid feel (if you are not dropping it on asphalt). Holding out for 6, hope that apple will be more reasonable with case materials this time :)

i have a 5 and my gf has a 4S. I really like the build quality of the 4S. build quality not materials used - she dropped her phone pbly 5 times a week, and it still works fine. I've never dropped my phone and I about to be on my 3rd iP5 since launch....

I switched from Sprint 4s to Verizon 5 for coverage and LTE. Not regretting it, but the 5 is nothing special. The real estate increase is totally lame. if anything it makes the phone a little less easy to use. It's not as attractive either, but I have kept both in Lifeproof cases so that's not as important. If Verizon had had a 4s that did LTE I wouldn't have gotten the 5. The 4s is definitely more solid.

Don't miss the 4S much, I love the iPhone 5 and all it's improvements. Not a huge fan of how easy the aluminum scuffs though

I liked the look of the 4s better. I also didn't have to worry about scratches much without a case; not true at all of the 5. I suppose LTE is pretty nice, although I never felt slow with HSPA/HSPA+. I went with 64gb versus 16gb too, so that's very nice, but not unique to the 5.
