It’s a serious question lol. I mean in terms of working. Both my wrists are covered. My left wrist is black ink, and the wrist detection won’t work because of it. Causes it to constantly lock. There’s a magic spot on my right wrist, which is like a fuchsia color, that it will work on but it’s still temperamental. I’d prefer to wear it on my left wrist. I’m sure, eventually, they will figure it out and it’ll work, just not sure if it’ll be an advertising point for them. Not sure if serious. Do you mean with reacting to the skin and to the ink, causing irritation?
Appreciate the feedback. I’m assuming it must be a hard issue to solve, otherwise I’d imagine they would have done so by now. It's the same sensor. I don't have tattoos down there so can't help, but the sensor array is unchanged.

If I wanted it to function normally and reliably, yes. To me, that’s just not worth it though lolWell I learned something new today. So you'd have to do tattoo removal just to wear the watch...
I don’t see how they could get around this: the issue is simply that all Apple Watch sensors are based on light going through the skin to check blood vessels.Appreciate the feedback. I’m assuming it must be a hard issue to solve, otherwise I’d imagine they would have done so by now.
That’s interesting. Never really been able to try it. Like I said previously, I can get it to work on my right wrist, but it’s temperamental…to the point that it’s just not worth it. Surely at some point they have to figure something out. Seems hard to believe with all the technology out there these days, that they don’t have a way for it to work through inkHeck, I have no tattoos and still have trouble maintaining a HR during a workout. Especially if it is cold. The technology is still
Lacking.
Being it is depending on optical feedback, dark ink will always interfere with a good reading. That’s interesting. Never really been able to try it.
