Probably ridiculous question, I know. Only 10 days away from delivery date and status has not changed.

16gb Black WiFi, ordered 3/26, with "delivers" date of 4/28.

Edit: Blech ... don't know where the "15" came from in the title!

Nope...
I was ordered the 22nd and was told may 3rd delivery date...

Why would they do anything? do they own ups or fedex? not their fault if the actual delivery is off from the estimate they gave you.

Apple is not FedEx, nor is FedEx Apple. The two companies are independent of each other. Fed Ex's shipping delays (if any) have nothing to do with Apple.

Even if it IS a fault of Apple (perhaps they simply miscalculated and shipped it a few days late), I doubt you are going to get any perks or free stuff. Honestly, it's really not worth worry about. It's an iPad, not a new kidney.

Maybe he meant if the ipad doesn't ship by the date Apple said it was supposed to ship. In any case, if your ipad doesn't ship by the date Apple specified, just call them and hopefully you can get at least an explanation.

Anything Apple will do if they fail to meet their "delivery date"?

If Apple fail to meet their "delivery date", just call them up. I'm sure they'll compensate you for your troubles by giving you a gigantic $5 Apple gift card.

Good luck. :)
